HUCKLEBERRY, INC.
P.O. BOX 1447
TROUT CREEK, MT 59874-1447

January 1, 2012

Dear Vendors;

The last few years I have sent the application/contract for booths to all of the past vendors and to all of the vendors on the waiting list. This works really well so I will continue doing it. PLEASE PRINT OR TYPE & BE SURE TO FILL OUT THE FORM COMPETELY, making sure you list the items you are selling. If you have any questions you can call me, Kathy, 406-827-3301 or e-mail hill@blackfoot.net.

2012 BOOTH FEES: We have not increased our fees in the last five or more years, and after much discussion, our Board has reluctanlty decided that booth fees will be set at $60 (uncovered) and $75 (covered) for this year. We hope and expect that we will not need to raise our rates again for several years. We understand that this may represent a hardship for some, so we would like to offer to provide a weblink, email address or phone number as part of your information on our website, at no additional cost to you (previously we charged an additional $10 for this service). We value your participation, and hope this increase will not prevent you from joining us at the Festival.

PAST VENDORS: You will have until April 15th to get your space money to me. You will still get a full refund for cancellation if I am notified by July 15th. There will not be any refund of monies if the cancellation is after July 15th. If you do not notify me and you are a NO SHOW for any reason, YOU WILL NOT BE INVITED BACK, because there are people on the waiting list and we don’t want any empty spaces.

WAITING LIST VENDORS: I will fill the empty spaces from the waiting list based on the order your application and fee is received. We mark the date received on each application. I will notify you as soon as possible. We will hold your money until after the Festival in the event of a late cancellation. If you don’t want me to do that please notify me before July 15th & I will refund your money at the time of cancellation.

ALL VENDORS: The hours of the Festival are Friday, August 10th, 5:00 – 9:00 p.m., Saturday, August 11th, 9:00 a.m.- 5:00 p.m. and Sunday, August 12th, 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.. Friday is not mandatory but it is to your benefit to be open. We have activities in the park starting at 5:00 p.m. Friday. The hours Saturday and Sunday are mandatory. Non-compliance to Saturday & Sunday hours will result in not being invited back the following year. The auction will start at 5:00 p.m.. This was changed to accommodate the vendors who felt that the auction distracted from the customers visiting their booths. If you wish to stay open later please do so; it will be to your advantage. Many people see your items at the auction and wish to purchase more.

If you need your R. V. holding tank pumped during the weekend please let me know and I will give your space or RV location to the people that service the port-a-potties. There will be ice available to buy at the Huckleberry Festival Food Booth # 5 (near the stage).

Covered booth spaces, with electricity, will be $75.00. Uncovered spaces without electricity will be $60.00. Power is limited in the RV booth area. At the most, you may be able to run a fan; if you wish to do so, add $5.00 and make a note on your application.

FOOD VENDORS: You are encouraged to open Friday evening. We always have people looking for food.

SET-UP: You may drive your vehicle into the park to unload on Friday before 4:45 PM and after 9:00PM; also on Saturday before 8:30 AM. Please drive in, unload, drive out & park, then return to your space for setting up. This will allow everyone to get their product to their booth in a timely manner with less congestion. The only vehicles that will be allowed in the park during the festival hours will be vehicles used for garbage detail, ice delivery &/or emergency vehicles.

PARKING: Even if you have a handicap sticker, please don’t park in the handicap parking area! We will try to have handicap vendor parking area available. We want the customers to have the convenience first. That is why we all are at the Festival. Overnight camping permits for RVs are available for $10.00

Thanks,

Kathy Hill, Huckleberry Festival Vendor Chairperson
